PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a pair of inside and outside escutcheons to a door through one-touch operation. SOLUTION: A connecting rod 6, which is movably guided in a length direction in the inside escutcheon 2, is urged by an elastic force of a coiled spring 18 so that a locking protrusion 8 formed at its tip can be circumferentially turned at a predetermined angle so as to be engaged with a shelf part formed on the outside escutcheon, and also urged so as to head for an indoor side. After the door is sandwiched between the outside and inside escutcheons, a head part 7 of the connecting rod is pushed outward from the indoor side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
