PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer surface water-based coating composition for a DI (drawn and ironed) can forming a coated film having designability with an uneven feeling for the DI can having limitations on a coating and a drying methods and to provide the DI can having the coated film composed of the composition. SOLUTION: First constitution is the outer surface water-based coating composition for the DI can having a binder resin (A) and a silicone resin (B) and the weight-average molecular weight of the silicone resin is 100,000-700,000.
