PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot controller capable of transferring detection data captured by a detector to main memory at high speeds without interfering with robot control. SOLUTION: The robot controller comprises a processor 23A for controlling a robot and processing detection data captured from a camera 31 for detecting the robot's environmental condition, main memory 24A accessible to the processor 23A, a primary data bus 37 to be connected to the main memory 24A, and a secondary data bus 38 lower in transfer speed than the primary data bus 37 for transferring control data used for robot control. Further, the robot controller comprises a writing means 4 for writing the detection data directly into the main memory 24A through the primary data bus 37 without interposing the secondary data bus 38. The writing means 4 comprises a processor control chip 5 connected to the processor 23A through the primary data bus 37, and the camera 31 is connected to the processor control chip.
