The device has an opening key (16), which works together with a locking latch (11) over a transfer unit (9). The latch engages a closing bracket in a closing position, and deflecting guides (29-31) are provided in the transfer unit. The opening key stays in engagement with a slider (18), which is connected with the transfer unit. The slider is adjustable into a position lying outside of the engagement with the opening key, during an impact, which acts on the vehicle. The slider and the transfer unit are made from plastic. |
