发明名称 MEASURING DEVICE OF NEUTRON AND GAMMA RAYS
摘要 PURPOSE:To perform continuously stable measurement by a method wherein neutrons and gamma rays are detected by one detector, the obtained pulses are splitted into neutrons and gamma rays for measuring, whereby being automatically controlled to offset linear gain as well as the fluctuation of a discriminating characteristic of neutrons and gamma rays. CONSTITUTION:The pulses of neutrons or gamma rays generated on a scintillator enter the wave-form discriminating circuits 15 and 16 through a photoelectric multiplier 12. The discriminator built in the circuit 15 is adjusted to a low level and the discriminator built in the circuit 16 is adjusted to a high level whereby the input to the wave-form discriminating part is so controlled as the ratio of the discrete values of the pulses passing through the discriminators of said high- and- low levels may be constant to cope with the linear gain fluctuation. Further the time crest conversion gain or the time delay so as to supervise the fluctuation of the peak position in the distribution of the pulse crest after discriminating the crest of the pulses passing through the low level discriminator and to keep constant the ratio of the discrete value of one side half of the gamma rays peak position and all the gamma rays discrete value to cope with the fluctuation of the crest discriminating characteristic.
