<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electrode, whereby distortion of a collector can be removed without deteriorating battery performance. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the electrode has a mix layer forming process, a pressing process, and a correcting process. The correcting process is a process to heat an uncoated part by induction heating. In this manufacturing method of the electrode, since the uncoated part is heated by induction heating, the temperature of a collector is speedily raised to a prescribed temperature. Therefore, this manufacturing method of the electrode does not require such large device as a conventional heating furnace. This manufacturing method of the electrode gives no damage to the collector, since no cut is made in the collector. Therefore, bend correction is applied to the electrode manufactured by this manufacturing method without causing deterioration of battery performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
