<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that cooling water intrudes into a bearing inside with air to lead shortening life of bearing in a valve member attached to a sealing of a bearing for roll neck since the same has a structure opening and closing according to pressure difference between inside and outside of bearing and an operation of attaching such a valve member is difficult. <P>SOLUTION: A main body 33 of a valve mechanism 22 is inserted in an opening part 20 of a seal member 19 having a roll in part 32 rolled in a periphery surface of a hole in a swelling part 27 of a core metal 24, and a flange 34 is pushed in to get into contact with a fixing part 28 of an elastic seal body 25. A locking projection part 36 located in a middle position of the main body 33 engages with a middle of the roll in part 32 to be embedded therein and a locking projection piece 36 located on a tip position of the main body 33 is locked at an end surface of the opening 20. Since a valve mechanism 22 can pass air and cut off water and oil by a valve element 21 for adjusting pressure of inside and outside of an rolling bearing, flow out of lubricant in the rolling bearing is prevented and life of the rolling bearing can be extended. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
