<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening device which freely removably fixes an antenna assembly onto at least one piece of user's clothes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The antenna assembly is a part of a communication system including a portable communication device to be attached to user's clothes 15. A fastening device 200 includes a body portion 205 and a long and narrow receiving portion 210. The receiving portion 210 has a long and narrow groove 211 and a pair of elastic wavy portions 215 and 216 demarcating a long and narrow opening 212. The pair of wavy portions 215 and 216 guide a segment 110a of the antenna assembly into the groove 211 through the opening 212. Once the segment 110a is forced into the groove 211, the wavy portions 215 and 216 are returned to normal positions to fix the segment 110a in the groove 211. The fastening device 200 is attached to a ring on at least one piece of user's clothes 15 by a hook and loop fastener, a pair of slide keeper clips, or a belt using a carabiner clip.
