PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electrolyte for a secondary battery, which allows a battery operated with a high energy density to have a superior charge/discharge cycle life, and a superior storing endurance; and a nonaqueous electrolyte battery arranged by use of such an electrolyte.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte is used for a secondary battery including, as a positive electrode active material, at least one of lithium-containing metal oxides having structures of Li(MMM)O, Li(MM)Oand zLiMO-(1-z)LiMOcomprises: a nonaqueous solvent; a lithium salt; and at least one compound of trialkylsilyl polyphosphate and trialkylsilyl polyphosphite.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
