An embodiment of the present invention relates to a control method for a cylinder-deactivation (CDA) engine for a vehicle and a device thereof and, more specifically, relates to a control method for a CDA engine for a vehicle and a device thereof, wherein a rest cylinder and an active cylinder are repeatedly converted and controlled so as to prevent a cool-down phenomenon of a vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, as the active cylinder and the rest cylinder are alternately and sequentially activated, the cool-down phenomenon can be prevented while securing benefit of fuel efficiency when driving in a CDA mode for a long time. |
