FIELD: radio engineering and communications.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method in base station for communication with user equipment in communication network. Base station is configured to communicate with user equipment in accordance with selected from at least two user equipment categories (8/9 LTE and 10 LTE). Based on information on selected user equipment category base station determines first number of maximum of transmission levels, supported by base station for implementation of subsequent communication with user equipment in accordance with determined first number of maximum of transmission levels and in accordance with selected user equipment category.EFFECT: this method allows achieving maximum throughput capacity by using maximum possible bandwidth between base station and user equipment, reducing time of transmitting data without any losses.34 cl, 15 dwg, 1 tbl |
