PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate more precisely a fuel quantity injected into a combustion chamber by regulating a quantity control valve controlling the fuel quantity fed to an internal combustion engine, dependent upon battery voltage added thereto and/or coil resistance of the quantity control valve, and the like. SOLUTION: Fuel sucked from a fuel tank 12 by a fuel pump 11 is carried to a high-pressure pump 16 via a fuel filter 13 and a quantity control valve 15, and at this time, fuel pressure is controlled to a prescribed pressure by operation of a low- pressure controller 14. The high-pressure fuel discharged from the high-pressure pump 16 is fed to a accumulator 18 and fuel is injected to combustion chambers from here through each injection valves 19, etc., of respective cylinders. The pressure of the high-pressure fuel is regulated in a fixed range by an overpressure valve 17. In this case, the quantity control valve 15 is controlled, dependent upon deviation of the target pressure of the accumulator 18 and the actual pressure due to a pressure sensor 20, battery voltage, the coil resistance of the quantity control valve 15, and the like, which are obtained by the use of a characteristic map based on the speed and the load of an engine. |
