A wirelessly controlled transcranial electrical stimulation device (TES), comprises a headset 1, which comprises an arch shaped clamper 11 with cavities 12,13 which house a microcontroller with a first Bluetooth terminal and a power supply respectively. The microcontroller controls a plurality of body contacting electrodes. The device further comprises remote control unit, which comprises operating buttons, a display and a second Bluetooth terminal for wireless communication with the headset. The remote control sends instructions to the microcontroller to make the electrodes exert a direct current (DC) or an alternating current (AC) with preset density and frequency to a cerebral cortex. Electrode feedback signals are processed by the microcontroller and sent back for display on the remote control unit. The device may further comprise a current wave detection module, electroencephalography (EEG) detection module and an EEG stimulation module. The EEG module may comprise a switch to exert DC or AC to the cerebral cortex through the electrodes. There may be eight electrodes divided into four pairs, preset as, DC, AC, grounding and standby channels respectively. |
