The present invention provides a side plate unit for constructing a centrifugal projector, said projector being capable of focusing a projection pattern of a projection material and thus being highly efficient in treating a narrow projection area, and a centrifugal projector that utilizes the side plate unit. This side plate unit is to be used for a centrifugal projector, and multiple blades are to be attached thereto. The side plate unit has a pair of side plates and connecting members that connect the pair of side plates together, wherein guide groove sections are formed in the facing surfaces of the pair of side plates, and each guide groove section of the side plates is slantingly formed such that the outer side thereof in the radial direction is positioned behind the inner side thereof in the radial direction in terms of rotating direction. |
