The present invention provides a method and apparatus for aiding sleep, wherein the method comprises: receiving an instruction used for indicating that a sleep-aiding mode of a terminal is started; triggering and starting a mute mode of the terminal in the sleep-aiding mode and playing pre-set sleep-aiding music; and periodically acquiring state information about a user, and stopping playing the pre-set sleep-aiding music when the state information indicates that the user enters a sleep state. By means of the present invention, the problem in the relevant art that a sleep-aiding method has complicated operations and low efficiency is solved. |
