The invention relates to a process for preparing crystallized sodium chloride for pharmaceutical use. According to the invention, the process consists in purifying the edible sodium chloride with a maximal concentration of SOions of 0.345% by dissolving it in purified water, in a ratio of 20...27%, and treating it with barium chloride 0.5M in a stoichiometric ratio, removing the sulphate ions by decanting the deposited sulphate, after which the solution is passed through 1...3 columns filled with activated quartz sand with particles of 0.5...1.5 mm, the brine from which the sulphate ions have been removed is then passed through 1...3 columns filled with cationic ion-exchange resin where the Ca, Mg, Baions are retained and is further fed to an atomizer with a flow rate of 16...18 l/h, at an outlet temperature of 80...97°C, to result in solid sodium chloride with a concentration of at least 99.9%, a moisture content <0.5%, where the concentration of Caand Mgions is <100 ppm and the concentration of Baions is <50 ppm. |
