摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle communication device that self-diagnoses the soundness of the frequency of a power wave without performing high-speed sampling and keeping a circuit scale small.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle communication device 10 amplifies the source signal of a power wave output from an oscillator 111 by a power amplifier 112 and transmits the power wave to a ground communication device 20 by a power wave antenna 113, and on the other hand modulates a test information wave generated to check whether a reception function for the information wave output from the ground communication device 20 is normal or not by a modulator 132, and transmits the resultant wave to an information wave reception antenna 121 by an information wave transmission antenna 133. When the device receives the information wave and the test information wave by the information wave reception antenna 121, it demodulates the information wave and the test information wave by a demodulator 122 to output the resultant waves to a calculator 141. The device comprises a frequency converter 131 that converts the frequency of the source signal of the power wave output from the oscillator 111 by multiplying or dividing the frequency, and outputs a signal after conversion to the modulator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
