摘要 The present invention provides a method whereby it becomes possible to detect an endogenous activated GTPase on a tissue specimen fixed with formalin or the like, particularly a method whereby it becomes possible to detect an endogenous activated GTPase by immunostaining. The present invention relates to a method for detecting an activated low-molecular-weight GTP-binding protein (GTPase) in a fixed biological tissue. The method comprises the steps of: (a) fixing a biological tissue of interest; (b) bringing a probe capable of binding specifically to an activated GTPase into contact with the fixed biological tissue; and (c) detecting the probe bound to the activated GTPase. In step (b), the contact between the fixed biological tissue and the probe is carried out by employing an electric field noncontacting stirring technique.
