PURPOSE:To use an ink tape for the thermal copy printing device smoothly and repeatedly by employing an ink tape manufactured by impregnating hot-melt type ink to an endless tape consisting of a porous substance as the ink tape. CONSTITUTION:The hot-melt type ink is applied to the endless tape composed of the porous substance, such as felt, porous plastic, etc., and used as the ink tape 13 for the thermal copy printing device. The ink tape 13 is heated selectively by means of a thermal head 14 through paper to be printed 10, ink is transferred to the paper to be printed 10, and the paper is printed. The ink tape 13, ink therein being exhausted through transfer printing, is heated by means of a heating roller 12, the hot-melt ink applied to the ink tape 13 is melted and liquefied, the ink is permeated according to a capillary phenomenon and uniformly distributed, and the ink tape can be employed for copy printing again. |
