PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a stack and to increase its effective area ratio. SOLUTION: This fuel cell stack 61 is provided with a fuel cell layer 31 constructed of a plurality of layered unit cells each layered via electrodes in both sides of a solid polymer film and a fastening means fastening the layered fuel cell 31 in the layer direction. The fastening means is provided with flanged supporting members 37 arranged respectively in both end sides in the longitudinal direction of the layered cell 31, thin plates 38 arranged individually while connected to the supporting members 37, and fixing bolts fastening the supporting members 37 in the layered cell 31 longitudinal direction. |
