The invention relates to a syringe arrangement for the injection of insulin, especially for injection by the patient himself. In order to avoid mishaps or mistakes in metering of the insulin dose to be injected (this applies particularly to injections by the patient himself) or at least to reduce these mistakes much more than has hitherto been possible it is provided according to the invention that there are several groups of syringes, the syringes in a group having a predetermined capacity (10, 10') to be filled with insulin, i.e. a maximum filling quantity, and that the maximum filling quantities of the various groups correspond to the different insulin doses encountered in practice. <IMAGE>
