PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and surely deploy an air bag of an occupant restraint system. SOLUTION: An air bag 21 of an occupant restraint system C comprises a first cell group 36 and a second cell group 37 having internal spaces independent of each other. A high-pressure gas discharged from both end parts of a common inflator 41 disposed between both cell groups 36 and 37 is supplied to a high-pressure gas feed port 31 of the first cell group 36 and a high-pressure gas feed port 35 of the second cell group 37, respectively. Thus, not only the first and second cell groups 36 and 37 can be inflated simultaneously by the common inflator 41 so as to rapidly deploy the entire air bag 21, but also, even if one of the first and second cell groups 36 and 37 are damaged, the other group can be deployed without causing any trouble. |
