The equipment used for the process comprises a roller with a substrate, a pressure roller and a cold roller, an extruder in which semi-melted plastic materials processed, a product belt on to which the completed laminate passes, a deflecting roller, and a roller for picking up the completed laminate. - A supplementary cooling arrangement is used comprising two changeover rollers located on either side of the cold roller. They guide the laminate so that as large a location as possible is achieved against the surface of the cold roller. The cold roller temp. is regulated automatically by an adjustment circuit fed with requisite data, viz. laminate temp., cold roller temp., etc., so that the laminate can be rolled up at an optimal temp. Via a memory unit, the adjustment circuit is supplied with the temp. difference between the surrounding atmosphere and the laminate. A sensor is used for the various temps., and is positioned between the cold roller and the laminate rolling unit. |
