PURPOSE:To obtain the title compound having improved fluidity, miscibility with other agent and storage stability and useful as a raw material for the direct tableting of tablet, etc., or an additive for food or feed, by spray-drying a dispersion of folic acid powder, wherein a part of folic acid is present in dissolved state. CONSTITUTION:A folic acid composition powder is produced by spray-drying a liquid dispersion of folic acid powder, wherein a part of the folic acid is dissolved in the liquid. The solvent used in the dispersion is water, methanol, acetone, etc., and the amount of the folic acid powder is about 30-100pts.wt., preferably 40-60pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the solvent. The particle diameter of the folic acid powder is <=150mum, preferably <=50mum. |
