<p>PURPOSE:To rapidly adsorb and remove bacteria and impurities and to give effective ions to human organisms by utilizing sintered porous ceramic incorporating yttrium, scandium, etc., and argillaceous mineral as a filter medium. CONSTITUTION:As a filter medium for performing purification of liquid espe cially water, firstly yttrium, scandium and europium are made powdery respec tively and sintered and thereafter rapidly cooled. Then lanthanum cerium, bari um and praseodymium are made powdery and similarly sintered. Furthermore, argillaceous mineral such as dolomite and kaolin which have been made to a powdery state is added to both sintered bodies and this mixture is resintered. Furthermore, argillaceous mineral and an additive are added to this stock and this mixture is kneaded, molded, dried and sintered to obtain a filter medium made of porous ceramic. Bacteria and impurities incorporated in water are removed by this filter medium and ion concn. is preferably enhanced.</p> |
