<p>PURPOSE:To assist the handicapped and the aged to easily get off from a bed by providing a collision preventing mechanism which prevents collision of end faces of both bed parts by separating front and rear side bed parts in a vertical direction when the front side bed part is turned. CONSTITUTION:A collision preventing mechanism A is constituted of a cam roller 35, mounted through a bracket 33 to a waist receiving supporting frame 21a, and a cam body 37. When a screw cylinder 13 is advanced by rotating a motor 10, a frame 16, to which the motor 10 is mounted, and a turning frame 6, integrally formed with this frame 16, are turned to a right side for a fixed frame 1. When the screw cylinder 13 is further advanced, the frames 16, 6 are turned by almost 45 deg. and by about 90 deg. from the initial condition. In this point of time, cam rollers 35, 36 and cam bodies 37, 38 are actuated, and a side of a back receiving supporting frame 21b is turned a little once to the rear simultaneously with a side of the waist receiving supporting frame 21a placed higher a little in the rear, thereafter the side of the back receiving supporting frame 21b is again vertically placed simultaneously with the side of the waist receiving supporting frame 21a placed in a horizontal condition. Accordingly, a lying person, while displacing the body in a direction of separating from a bed, can be easily raised.</p> |
