PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a flocculation of developer in a developer container caused by temperature rise in the device and frictional heat with a developer stirring means or a developer carrying means by providing a cooling means for cooling the developer stirring means so as to cool the developer. SOLUTION: In 1st and 2nd stirring chambers formed in the developer container 2, a 1st stirring means driven to be rotated and a 2nd stirring means 6 constituted of a hollow member having a hollow part 6a are supported by a supporting member 6c. The device is provided with a cooling fan 9 introducing outside air acting as a cooling medium in a direction shown by an arrow through a duct 8 from the outside of an image forming device on the outside of the container 2 at the end of either of the 2nd stirring means 6 and a carrying screw 7. It is provided with discharge parts 6b and 7b respectively discharging air passing through the hollow parts 6a and 7a and absorbing heat from toner inside the container 2 in the direction shown by the arrow at the end of the other. Thereafter, the air absorbing the heat and discharged from the discharge parts 6a and 7a is discharged to the outside of the image forming device. |
