PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of motors, reduce the weight of outboard motors, and cut cost by allowing the motor to be provided with the engine start function and the function as actuator for a pump for feeding the working fluid into a cylinder part for raising and lowering the outboard motor body. CONSTITUTION:In a working fluid feeding part 28 which can feed oil as working fluid into a tilt cylinder 23 for tilting an outboard motor body 1 arranged in the engine cover of an outboard motor body, an oil pump 29, integral shaped motor 32 in which a reservoir tank 30 and an electric motor 31 are assembled integrally solenoid valve 35 as control valve, and a controller 39 equipped with a variety of switches 36-38 are installed. When the solenoid valve 35 closes a connector piping 44, the oil supplied from the oil pump 29 can be sent under pressure into the tilt cylinder 32, while if the solenoid valve 35 is in opened state, the oil pump 29 idle-revolves, and the sending of oil under pressure into the tilt cylinder 23 is prevented, and the start of an engine 9 is enabled. |
