<p>PURPOSE:Dried apricot fruits are flattened by pressing and cut into a prescribed size and the water content is adjusted to 5-25wt% to give a food product with high storability and good texture. CONSTITUTION:Stones are removed from apricot fruits and the fruits are dried with sunlight or air-dried to 15-35wt% water content. Then, the dried dfruits are pressed to 0.5-1.5mm. thickness and cut into 1-15mm.X1-15mm. sizes as the product chips. Starch, lactose, vegetable oil and so on are added thereto, and the water content is adjusted, when necessary, to give the final product of 5-25% water content.</p> |
