DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DRIVING OF INK JET RECORD HEAD

PURPOSE:To provide a device and a method for controlling the driving of an ink jet record head capable of performing a high speed and stable recording without reducing the quality of the recording on a record medium. CONSTITUTION:A recording device comprises a means 42 for setting a pulse condition of a pulse signal by which a record head 10 is driven, a means 43 for storing the pulse condition, a means 41 for counting the number of dots recorded by each of first-(n)th record regions divided in the scanning direction and a means 17 for detecting a temperature of the record head. The pulse condition for the recording of the first record region is determined based on the detected temperature by the pulse condition setting means before scanning the first record region and the pulse conditions for the other record regions are determined based on the pulse condition and the number of dots of the just previous record region.
