PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester film excellent in surface evenness, sliding property, abrasion resistance and rolling characteristic and suitably usable for magnetic recording mediums. CONSTITUTION:This polyester film contains 0.01-2.0wt.% of organic polymer particles A having >=0.01mum, <0.6mum average particle diameter and 1.0-1.5 particle diameter ratio (long diameter/short diameter) and 0.005-2.0 pts.wt. of organic polymer particles B having a particle diameter which is >=0.05mum larger than that of the organic polymer particle A, >=0.1mum and having <0.6mum average particle diameter and 1.0-1.5 particle diameter ratio and existing in an amount equivalent to or not larger than that of the organic polymer particles A. |
