The road signal support post comprises an external plastic casing (1) with a metal tube (2') located inside it. A composite material (3) fills the space between the tube and the internal wall of the casing. The composite material also fills the internal space of the metal tube. The composite filling material is either flowed or injected into the spaces which it fills. The casing is obtained by extrusion and has a fluted part on its external surface. The casing can have either a polygonal or circular cross section and the tube interior section can be polygonal or circular. |
