PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible heat-resistive recording medium whose print keeping quality can be improved as the reversible heat-sensitive recording medium. SOLUTION: This reversible heat-sensitive recording medium comprises a leuco compound, a developer and reducer which has at least either of a phenolic hydroxyl group or a carboxyl group and also has an amino group as a functional group or a part of a chloride and at the same time, acts on the leuco compound to make the leuco compound develop a color or reduce a color and a recording layer compound mainly of a binder, all of these constituents being formed on a support. The recording layer of the recording medium has its color developed or decolored by controlling the thermal energy. Further, the recording layer has a sensitizer compound which has one or more amide parts (-CONH-) in a molecule and at least one or more long chain alkyl parts (-CnH2n+1, n>=12) on each of the inner ends of a molecular structure as a sensitizer internally added to the recording layer. |
