This vehicle wall section (100) includes a slab (1) of insulating material, preferably a foam plastic sandwich, and a vertical edge-capping framing section (2) of metal U-profile. This is located to one side of the wall slab (1), its external limb (4) partly parallel to the wall slab. A new feature is bending-away of the external U-limb in front of the terminal edge (25) of the wall slab (1), to form an angled resting section (6). A panel profile (7) has a section of plate (8) parallel to the external U-limb (4). This is connected to the outside of the wall slab (1), forming the transition from the wall slab to the resting section (6) of the outer U-limb (4).
