<p>A knockdown fireplace comprising first and second side panels having mesh mounted therein, first and second door panels also having a mesh mounted therein, a hearth extending between the first and second panels and being connected thereto, an upper cap assembly interconnecting the side panels, each of the door panels being hingedly mounted on one of the side panels. The arrangement utilizes a minimum of parts such that the fireplace can be shipped in a knockdown condition and stored in a knockdown condition. In one embodiment, the fireplace can be transported using a dolly.</p> |
