PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical connector, in which a contact thereof elatically makes contact with a counter part with a constant contact pressure independently of the fluctuation of thickness of an auxiliary circuit board. SOLUTION: A housing 10 is formed with an opening part 12 for the insertion of an auxiliary circuit board, and a contact 20 has an intermediate part 21, a connecting part 22 and a contact part 23C. In this case, a contact part 23B is formed of a projecting curved part, which extends to an opening edge of the opening part 12 and projects into the opening part, and the other end, which is curved into an inverted U-shape near the opening edge over from the contact part 23B to the other end, is formed with an abutment part 23C, and the abutment part 23C abuts on an inclined guide part 14B provided inside of the housing. The inclined guide part 14B is inclined toward the auxiliary circuit board inserting direction, so as to enlarge the space between the auxiliary circuit board and itself. |
