The invention relates to a method for burning, welding and/or cutting metal materials using a shielding gas, whereby at least one shielding gas is used and a shielding gas-air mixture is generated at the material processing station. In order to reduce costs resulting from the procurement of shielding gas, the invention provides that the shielding gas-air mixture arising in the material processing station is extracted and fed to a shielding gas recycling facility (1) to recycle said shielding gas and that the recycled shielding gas is used once again for burning, welding and/or cutting the metal materials. |
