The invention relates to a method for the production of a supported catalyst system. In a first step, an organic or inorganic support material is reacted with a metal compound of general formula (I), M<1>(R<1>)r(R<2>)s(R<3>)t(R<4>)n in the presence of an inert solvent, wherein M<1> stands for an alkali, an alkaline earth metal or a metal of the third or fourth main group of the periodic table; R<1> stands for hydrogen, C1 to C10-alkyl, C6 to C15-aryl, alkylaryl or arylalkyl with 1 to 10 C atoms in the alkyl radical and 6 to 20 C atoms in the aryl radical; R<2> to R<4> stand for hydrogen, halogen, C1 to C10-alkyl, C6 to C15-aryl, alkylaryl, arylalkyl, alkoxy, aryloxy or dialkylamino with 1 to 10 C atoms in the alkyl radical and 6 to 20 C atoms in the aryl radical; r is a whole number from 1 to 4 and s, t and u stand for a whole number from 0 to 3, whereby the sum of r+s+t+u corresponds to the valence of M<1>. In a following step, the suspension thus obtained is reacted with a metallocene complex and a metallocene ion forming compound. The solvent is not evacuated after the first step has been carried out and the following step is conducted without intermediate purification of the pre-treated support material thus obtained. |
