PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely form fine projected and recessed patterns by providing projected stripe sections on a substrate so that the sections are projected looking from a light transmission layer side and providing recessed sections which are formed at the longitudinal direction of the projected stripe sections and formed at the position having the sane height of the main surfaces of the projected stripe sections. SOLUTION: Grooves 9 are formed on a substrate 2 with a prescribed track pitch in an approximately circumferential direction. Pits 10 are formed at a prescribed region. The grooves 9 and the pits 10 constitute of the projected and recessed patterns on the substrate 2. Moreover, lands 11, which are the projected stripe sections, are formed between the grooves 9 that are adjacent to each other in a track width direction. The pits 10 are formed in the prescribed regions of an optical disk on the substrate 2 and form a pit train, arranged in a line along the extended line in the longitudinal direction of the lands 11. The pits 10 are formed as recessed sections having the same depth of the grooves 9 starting from the same height position of the main surface of the lands 11. |
