PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse width modulator, without output fluctuation no simultaneously changes of the output. SOLUTION: A pulse width modulator is constituted of a clock period counting circuit D, which counts the period of a reference clock signal for generating pulse, a multiplication circuit E which multiplies the output of the counting circuit D with time-sequentially received data, a plurality of down- counter circuits A with preset which preset the output of the multiplication circuit E following preset instructing signals and down-count the output in accordance with a clock for downcounter, a plurality of comparator circuits B which compare the outputs of the down-counter circuits A with a value '0', and a plurality of output holding circuits C which hold and output the outputs of the comparator circuit B at the rising or falling time of the reference clock for down-counter. |
