PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diazo recording material excellent in an image fixing property by containing a specific anion component in a diazonium salt compound in the recording material provided with a recording layer containing the diazonium salt compound and a coupler coloring by reacting with the diazonium salt compound on a carrier. SOLUTION: A diazonium salt compound has an anion component expressed by formula I or II, where R<1> , R<2> independently indicate the phenyl group and the other aromatic hydrocarbon group or the like which may contain hetero atom respectively, R<2a> indicates phenylene or the other bivalent aromatic hydrocarbon group which may contain hetero atom, R<3> indicates the alkyl group having carbon atoms of 1-20 substituted with-Si(R<9> )(R<10> )(R<11> ), phenyl group or the like, R<4> indicates the phenyl group, the other aromatic hydrocarbon group which may contain hetero atom or the like, E indicates P(R<14> )(R<15> ), S(R<6> ), N(R<7> )(R<8> ), and R<6> -R<11> and R<14> -R<16> independently indicate the alkyl group having carbon atoms of 1-12 or the like respectively. |
