PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of automatically and surely forming a print group corresponding to a state where another document is inserted in between optional pages of a document group in a short time. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an automatic document feeder 20 equipped with a document tray 2101, image reading parts 11 and 12, and a printer part P. And the device is provided with an interleaf detecting means for discriminating whether a document supplied onto an image reading position is the document of a 1st document group, or an interleaf when a compound document group with the interleaf which is as large as the document of the 1st document group and which is inserted in between the optional pages of the 1st document group constituted of the same-sized document is set on the document tray 2101. At the process of forming the print group corresponding to the compound document group, the image of a 2nd document prepared in addition to the compound document group is formed in place of the image of the interleaf. |
