PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the acceptance of medical examination only by a medical card without requiring an insurance card exept a first medical examination and to check the validity of the insurance card. SOLUTION: An unusable insurance IC card data base 111 registers the card ID of an unusable insurance card. At the first medical examination, a medical business client 103 inputs an insurance IC card 101, sends the card ID of the card 101 to a medical business server 104 to inquire the validity of the insurance card. The server 104 refers to the data base 111, decides whether the insurance card is usable or not and transmits the judged result to the client 103. When the insurance card is valid, the client 103 writes insurance card information in a medical examination IC card 102. At the time of receiving a patient at a second coming or after, the client 103 inputs the insurance card information in the card 102 and checks the validity of the insurance card through the server 104. |
