PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and securely carry a unit used for toner such as in a development cartridge and the toner, make the whole of a system compact and reduce the cost thereof. SOLUTION: In the packaging method, cushioning members 13 and 14 are mounted on both sides and in the width direction of a development cartridge 11, and the cartridge is stored in a packaging case 12. The cushioning members 13 and 14 are formed of a blow molded thermoplastic resin material and are of a hollow structure. Toner is filled from openings 13b and 14b into the cushioning materials 13 and 14, and the cushioning members filled with the toner can be packaged simultaneously with the development cartridge 11 not filled with the toner and carried. After the completion of carriage, the toner is replenished from the openings 13b and 14b into the development cartridge 11 to simplify the constitution of the development cartridge 11 for preventing the agglomeration of toners and the leakage during the carriage and also reduce the cost. Dead spaces in the packaging case 12 can be effectively utilized for the carriage of the toner to provide the safety and cost reduction. |
