APPARATUS FOR REDUSING VIBRATION OF OUTSIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR

PURPOSE: A vibration damping device is provided to effectively damp vibration of a mirror face by elastically adhering a closed loop damping member in the rear portion of a rearview mirror. CONSTITUTION: A vibration damping device comprises: a housing(60) wherein a rearview mirror(50) is installed; a glass holder(55) holding the rearview mirror and transmitting an angle adjusting force of the rearview mirror; an actuator(70) installed in the housing to adjust an angle of a mirror face of the rearview mirror; and a closed loop damping member(80) of which both ends are fixed with the glass holder, of which curved portion is elastically adhered onto the inner face of the housing to damp vibration of the rearview mirror. The damping member damps vibration of the rearview mirror by the elasticity generated due to inward bending by the inner face of the housing.
