METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COMPENSATING ROTARY VIBRATION OF PRINTING PRESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally compensate the rotary vibration of a printing press at as low a cost as possible. SOLUTION: At least one of the inherent forms of a printing press 1 is determined and inverse torque for compensating the torque bringing about the vibration in the inherent form is detected with respect to at least one positions 3, 3' where the inherent form is not zero of the drive line 4 of the printing press 1 to be preserved. The inverse torque is applied to the corresponding positions 3, 3' so that vibration is maximally reduced by applying at least one inverse torque.
