PURPOSE: A digital audio apparatus for an international standardization broadcasting and controlling method thereof are provided to realize a high compression rate of a digital signal in real time and increase a compatibility between same equipments using MPEG-2. CONSTITUTION: A digital audio apparatus for an international standardization broadcasting comprises an analog/digital converter(41) for receiving an audio signal of an analog type sampling the signal at 48KHz and converting the signal into a digital signal, a control part(42) for receiving the analog data converted by the analog/digital converter to convert the signal into a I2S or AES/EBU(audio engineering society/european broadcasting union) format and controlling a digital/analog converting process, an I2S output part(43) for outputting a I2S format data, an AES/EBU output part(44) for outputting an AES/EBU format data, an encoding part(45) for receiving a data from the I2S output part and the AES/EBU output part to perform a sub-band analysis and a psychologic sound model and generating a final bit-string and outputting a data of the I2S and AES/EBU format and a S/P DIF(sony/philips digital interface) format, a digital/analog converter(46) for converting a digital data of the control part into an analog data and outputting to a speaker, an AES/EBU monitoring part(47) for receiving the AES/EBU format data of the control part and monitoring an operation of the AES/EBU data and a S/P DIF outputting part(48) for outputting a S/P DIF data of the encoding part. |
