PURPOSE: A method of charging a plurality of secondary batteries is provided to reduce a charging period of time by distributing charging current adaptively to the secondary batteries. CONSTITUTION: A method of charging a plurality of secondary batteries measuring states of charging parts to inspect whether secondary batteries are connected to the charging parts, when an interrupt is generated at a standby state of a microprocessor(S30). The microprocessor calculates the amount of charging currents to be provided to the secondary batteries(S31). The calculated charging currents are set to a reference value of the microprocessor, which generates current control signals using the reference value(S32). After producing the current control signals and a driving signal, the microprocessor displays a state of the charging parts and a charging state through a display part(S33), and the procedure goes to a standby step(S40).
