PURPOSE: To provide a chip-type common mode choke coil, with which short- circuiting will not occur or the deterioration of voltage resistance or insulation defect will not occur by making contacting a wire to an adjacent electrode, further the cross-sectional area of the leg part is large, the mechanical strength is improved and reliability is high. CONSTITUTION: By providing a projecting part 20, protruding in the axial direction of a winding core part 2 in the area held by respective electrodes (7a, 7b, 7c and 7d) comprising plural electrodes on the inner side face of a flange part 3, namely, on the mutually confronted faces of two flange parts 3 located on both the terminal sides of the winding core part 2, a process distance between the electrodes is extended. By partitioning the electrode, short-circuiting caused by contacting wires 8 (8a and 8b) also with an electrode adjacent to the electrode which should by right be connected is blocked. Moreover, as a projecting part 20, one plane form selected from among a group of triangle, square, rectangle, trapezoid and semicircle is located. |
