PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor from a remote place the living condition of a person to be monitored in detail. SOLUTION: A remote monitor system 100 detects the utilization state of respective electrical appliances in houses 2a and 2b, where the place of persons to be monitored is living by detection units 10 and sends them to a remote monitor center device 17 of a remote monitor center 3. The remote monitor center device 17 displays the utilization states of the electrical appliances sent from the houses 2a and 2b and refers to them to monitor the living condition of the person.
